New to forum, live in western Massachusetts area. Rode 2 wheels for 40 years. Back issues brought me to the Ryker. Less than 2 weeks and 700 miles later I have to say I'm having a blast.

Ive only used 87 in my Rally 900 and its so fast that I dont see a need for 91 grade . 32.8 mpg.eco mode.

My five year old helmit is a HJC Sprint IS-MAX modular.
The new vession is the HJC IS-MAX 2. modular .Very good reviews and about $200. on Amazon. I shall see if a local shop sells them.

Riding down a back road about 30mph, I came upon a Huge Feral Hog dead on the side of the road. Largest one Ive ever seen and was glad it wasn't me that hit it.

Read in local paper that a Spyder git together is tomorrow downtown. I'm going with my Ryker and maybe other Ryker owners will show up. That would be nice as I havent seen any yet. I have the HJC modular ,a full face helmit. Ive had it 5 years and wondering if I should replace it because of age.? Any thoughts on age effects on a helmit.? Should it be replaced ? Also I see many riders with a rag tied on their head instead of a helmit.Scares the heck out of me. Are these special...

Caution,you probably are not checking the oil the proper way. Please read your manual or you may do a lot of damage.
There are post also on the oil check procedure. You cannot check the oil cold.

My milage is getting much better the more miles on the bike. I have 1300 miles and its crept up to 32.8 MPG. 40 would be awsome but Im happy.

If you can find the little peeper I would say it being electric just detach the wire to it. Its anyones guess where they hid it.
Personally I like letting people know Im backing up. Also its kind of showing off that look at me I have reverse on this awsome bike. LOL
