That sounds like the same issue I'm having. My noise sounds electronic. It's like a high-pitched dial tone. It seems to come and go, but it is pretty loud. I can hear it if I'm doing less than 25 mph. Anything above that and the engine & wind noise drown it out. It's really annoying and actually kin...

From the manual.
To Modify a Value (Clock)
Press the LOWER button to select the information to be modified.
When selected, hold the LOWER button to enter in the modification mode.
Press LOWER button until the new value is displayed.
Wait 2-3 second to accept the change

Given how wonky the fuel gauge is . . . I usually fill the tank back up as soon as it indicates that the tank is less-than-full.
