Re: Ryker Rally off road
My sole use of my Rally is on dirt back roads. Most are maintained but some are border line. They're comprised of dirt, gravel, mud and deep sand. I don't ride aggressively, just do 15 to 25 mph depending on conditions. I haven't found anywhere I can't go as long as I have ground clearance. The deep...

Re: New to the Ryker forum? Feel free to introduce yourself here!
Congrats. Main thing you will have trouble with till you get used to it (which won't take long) is the brakes. Till you're used to it, start braking earlier than normal. Someone new to bikes won't have a problem but you will find yourself reaching for that lever for awhile. And the first few times y...

Re: Gas Mileage
Just checked once, around 31. Only filled up at a gas station twice (same day, before and after ride). Normally I fill from a 5 gallon jug.

Re: Normal Sounds of a brand new ryker?
I can't speak for the tapping sounds because I always listen to music via a headset in my helmet but the clunking is normal, that's the driveshaft. Which is why you always want to make sure you're fully engaged after switching directions before giving it a lot of gas.

Drivers Comfort Seat
Anybody out there ride on the stock seat and then put on a comfort seat? Just wondering how much difference it made and if worth purchasing. It seems to be one of the most popular accessories but I can't find any reviews on it. Getting close to pulling the trigger and getting one but would like mayb...

Re: Rally Edition Use
I washed it to about 95% clean. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it getting it looking like new because all I ride are dirt roads and it's just going to get dirty every time I ride. The only time I'm on pavement is riding looking for the next dirt road to go down and see where it leads to.

Rally Edition Use
This is what my Rally looks like after using it for what it was intended -- running the dirt backroads! I love dual-sporting, but the bikes were getting too tall and I was getting too old. So...with 3 wheels I can't fall over and can once again get back on the dirt roads around me. Am loving it. Not...
