Re: Insurance
I did a lot of research when I bought my 600 a couple of months ago. I wound up with Geico. For the basic 10/30, pl and pd with comprehensive it was a tad over 275 per year. I went for 100/300 pl and pd at 330 per year. I know a lot of people will tell you to just get the 10/30 or none at all becau...

Re: Insurance
I've been riding all kinds of bikes/trikes for almost 45 years including a Polaris Slingshot, and I've never had insurance, and never once had an issue where having insurance would have been beneficial. Why do you feel you need it?

Re: Any Thoughts On What Protectant For Dull Gray Plastic Parts?
I guess we are talking two diff. directions. I never use a protectant, don't see the need. The Black Wax Combo has solved all my staining and spotting problems for years on my black Vette and XLR and now the Ryker. The rinsing off part of your question has me confused. I wash mine with Blue Coral, ...

Re: Any Thoughts On What Protectant For Dull Gray Plastic Parts?
I use Turtle Wax Black. It comes in a three stage kit: cleaner, spray detailer, carnuba wax. I haven't used the carnuba wax portion yet but the cleaner ( which is really a mild rubbing compound, I think ) and then an application of the spray detailer really worked well. I had some bad heel scuffs o...

Re: Oh, Come On! Part Of Front Fender Somehow Broke Off
Update: To avoid two trips to dealer or having to drop it off, I'm trying to arrange part being available at dealership, and then I go there and wait on repair. They were trying to say it would not be covered by Can-Am under warranty, while others have had same exact problem covered (per this or oth...

Re: Apparently Not All Rykers Have Defective Wheel Nuts
The recall notice says that they started receiving the bad wheel nuts on February 7th, 2019. Yours may have been made before that date. Mine made the recall list. The dealer said he had ordered wheel nuts for mine but couldn’t get a delivery date yet. I'll have to check the sticker on it (I'm in Ft...

Apparently Not All Rykers Have Defective Wheel Nuts
Checked with my nearest (but not near) dealer about a few issues, and they said mine (purchased I think around April) is not part of recall. They did say that there is one for mine regarding some handle bar washer though.
