We are closer to the engine on the Ryker than most motorcycles so that may be why its louder. I was getting a load clunk in reverse before I figured out that The RPM's were to high. It takes a few minutes on startup to drop down to 800 RPM .

The brake pads must be broken-in to get rid of the high spots so the whole pad is making contact against the rotor. use them a lot the first 300 miles.
You dont need power brakes on a 600 lb machine. Also the CVT has its own braking effect.

Someone may have over filled the oil. special instructions for filling oil. Run engine to warm temp.,shut off and check level within two minutes should be at full line. dipstick must be screwed all the way in to check. Checking cold will show no oil. instructions on inside door label. very weird.
