I also confirm the Gates 31859 cap works perfectly. Not totally airtight but you don't want it to be anyway, just a good firm fit.

Sorry, the only answer is... yes and no. Some are, some aren't. eg the horn is always live, the headlights aren't.

Just remember that whatever power the engine delivers has to go through the CVT belts considering that that the 600 and 900 use the same transmission. More power = more wear. This is one reason I went for the 600 (in addition to my F3L) I'll be interested to see how long the CVT lasts before requiri...
