#1 Post by Grime » Thu Jul 04, 2019 12:51 am

Has any one had issues with Ryker 600 suspension bottoming out I am a 110 kg rider and it is horrid to ride I have been looking at the Ryker replacement rear shocker with adjustable dampening has any one had experience with it. It is not cheap at $1440.00 don’t want to spend that much and find out it is no good.

I purchased the 2-up spring with my Ryker 600. When my wife and I ride it, it hasn't bottomed out at all. Together we are over 320 lbs (145 kg).

Ryker 600 rear suspension

Thats a great question...

A short answer is that the front and rear of the react differently to changes in spring rate. Roll centers and dynamic alignment changes play a big part here too and change differently in the front vs the rear with ride height and spring rate changes.

Elka makes some fantastic shocks and the stage 3 rear shock can be bought for around 450 usd
