LinQ top case review

#1 Post by stillupright » Sat Apr 20, 2019 5:18 pm

I purchased the top case, shown in the Ryker accessories booklet, in order to have some additional storage. I have a Ryker Rally
Pros
1. Has a nice shape
Cons
1. Smaller than anticipated. Insufficient volume to hold common items, such as a jacket, helmet or groceries
2. Does not lock
3. Questionable build quality. After a single use, a rivet holding the latch mechanism fell out and the case would no longer latch to the "max mount" The remaining rivet was loose. The rivets holding "L" bracket near the rear of the case were loose. The case liner does not allow access to the rivets from the inside.
I would suggest that Can-Am source a top case that is better quality and higher volume in order to be useful. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

I haven't had any quality issues with it, but it is smaller than expected

I also haven't had any quality issues ....but don't like how the top lip is turned inward taking away storage space
