If you are on the highway in the middle lane in traffic at 60 mph and the pump stops, do you think the vehicle behind you is gonna stop before hitting you? Think about it?

And the world might at midnight too. No reports of failures yet, just whining noise. But good luck with your dealer fixing the problem. There have been Reports of replacements making same noise after replacement. No recalls, so I’ll wait till BRP tells me I can’t ride it because it’s Unsafe.

I took my Rally to 2 different dealers. They both told me it was safe and it only happens when tank is half full or less. Which I have 2 videos showing more than half tank and it still has a loud annoying noise. When you call costumer service they say take it in to a dealer immediately. When I go to the dealer they say their mechanics say it is safe and your pump is on order. I was told it is safe to drive.
After all these recalls 3 times to stop brake cylinder from leaking, gear box , 2 times for this issue.
Last time they said by the end of August I will have a replacement pump. Still waiting
Starting to wish I never bought this any thing from this company.

I remember back in the late 70’s when I was Service Manager at a Honda/Yamaha Dealer in Indy when the Honda CBX came to market there were a couple issues that caused some new owners to wish they had not purchased the CBX at the 1st year release. Now many wish they had that bike back, me included. That inline 6 cylinder 1047cc engine was a beast for its time and orgasmic to look at. Guess I’ve been lucky so far with my Ryker, just returned from 2400 mile trip from Florida to Indy and back. Have had no problems yet. I did purchase a couple Wheel Nuts and Retaining Rings and the socket witch I took with me just in case I got bit by the cracked nut god. My fuel pump has whined since 1st day I purchased, I have just continued to top off tank when I hear whining and ride on. Hope you get your issues fixed and enjoy many miles.

It is now about six months after my first post about my fuel pump having a loud noise while driving. As stated before my tank is around or above 3/4 full mark. I am still waiting for the first 2 dealers to call me back saying they have a fuel pump for me.
I took my can-am to a 3rd dealer to get my recall done for the possible lugs nuts cracking and falling off. The person behind the counter told me they have a fuel pump they could put it in for me. Another costumer has not came back after them trying for 3 months to get a hold of them.
I have not had a chance to ride since it has been put on. Fair weather rider here will update when i can.

2018 900 Ryker, just started hearing this noise today. 1500 miles on odo. Noise is VERY annoying if you are used to not having it.

I found a mechanic who had one of the new ones he installed it been quiet since. Good luck to you. Don't except the B.S. from the factory
