wires rubbing against rear tire

#1 Post by snayl135 » Mon Feb 03, 2020 1:22 pm

just an FYI - not sure if this is the case on all models, but the other week I noticed that the left side of my rear tire appeared that it was rubbing against something. Upon further inspection, the wires from the tail light, that were zip-tied to the frame from the manufacture were not pulled in behind the frame and were actually rubbing against the tire. I will have to see if I can upload a picture, but just something to be aware of to make sure all your wires are not rubbing against anything. I guess it goes without saying that its good to inspect, but I would not have seen that right away unless I saw the rubbing area on the tire.
ride safe!

I checked the wires in all of my wheels and the right front tire the wires were touching the tire. So Pushed them back and put some metal tape on it to hold them away from the tire. The other front tire and rear tire was just fine.
