Rally Mode Experience

#1 Post by jmcbgardner » Mon May 20, 2019 1:42 pm

I'm very curious what rider's experiences have been with the Rally Edition in Rally Mode. I understand that it allows for the rear wheel experience some freedom in the slippage arena, but how much and does it feel under control?

In a field, at my house. I have gotten half circles drifts and never felt out of control. The wheel will continue to spin. On asphalt, I have done a couple of burn outs. But then it hooks up and takes off. My experience!

I run mine in Rally mode all the time. It lets you hang the back out a little farther then the Sport mode . As soon as your handle bars are close to full lock it will shut you down. The Promo video says every thing is off in Rally Mode and you can do any thing with it , not the case. As soon as you start having fun , it cuts power to the engine . I'm not happy with it.

I wonder if there is a fuse you can pull to take the VSS completely out of the picture? Probably throw a code and not run at all then.
