Loose wire connector question

So I just noticed a green tipped 6 pin wire connector loose under the hood of my Rally. It is located near the battery. Anyone have any idea what this may be. I have never noticed it before today and could see it without the hood panel off.... added a pic for reference

That is the diagnostic tool connection, it is usually tucked into a plug to protect it to the (riders) left of the fuse block.
