Cracked Wheel Nuts

#1 Post by Decon Blue » Sun Jul 28, 2019 1:21 pm

ImageI’m interested in finding out if these reported Cracked Wheel Nuts are on just the Rally Wheels or are any reported on the Black Ryker Wheels ? I’ve only seen ones with pics that were on the Rally Wheels.

Also, was the torque increased for the Ryker Wheels at some point ?

On Facebook, there’s a Group called “Can Am Ryker Bykers”. There’s been like 6-7 different peoples posts in last week. Owners all say dealers said Can Am is aware of issue.

Being that some of these failures are on REAR wheels , and the REAR wheel is factory installed , it does not seem to reason that the problem would be dealers are over torque the Nuts. One would think it’s a problem of them being made from aluminum.
