aftermarket exhaust (check engine)

#1 Post by tryker » Sun Apr 07, 2019 6:42 am

hi, i recently installed an aftermarket exhaust. i looks and sounds great :D , but after doing so, the check engine light turned on  . its obviously because its not reading the stock cat and muffler.
does anyone know how to clear the check engine light and turn off? Thanks in advance...

I don't think that if you removed the O2 sensor and cat, it would pass emissions where I live...

Whose aftermarket exhaust did you buy? Could be the lack of back pressure. Does it go away if you install the OEM system?

You could void the engine warranty, so I would be careful doing those mods..

What exhaust did you get, and do you have any video or pictures of it? I did see the RLS Exhaust on youtube and was wondering if that was what you got.
