What engine are you going with in your Ryker and why?

I went with a 900 in my preorder. If I go 2 up seating the extra h.p. will help when the wife is on the back (or my Girlfriends lol). I am thinking also the 900 will hold its value a little better then the 600 when trading or selling it someday.

I'm figuring on going with the 900 Rally Edition because I doubt that the 600 is going to have enough power to continue to be fun. I'm not exactly small...I don't want to strain a 600 when it tries to drag my big old butt around.

When I did an insurance quote on Geico for the 900 rally the quote was double that of the 900 (non-rally). Actually the 600 and 900 were the same price insurance wise.

I'm looking for a replacement for my Honda Helix, so I think the 600 is all that I need. I also ride a F3 S/RT.

Good day to you. My insurance quoted 20 mo 600 and 25 mo 900 and 900 rally edition. All they wanted to know was MSRP. No price difference between Rally and Base 900. State Farm is provider. Just input on my experience.

at first it was the price of the 600 that attracted me to a ryker, but as I ride with a passenger most of the time, I'm thinking 900 is the way to go

900 rally for these reasons. Live in Blue Ridge, Georgia and the mountain roads with passenger worry me with the 600. Also coming out of my living area onto the highway is a blind crapshoot over an unseen hill... nobody then CRAP.... and there are gravel roads and driveways everywhere, including my own.. which gets bad after rain.. so extra ride height makes sense for not bottoming out. Lastly the upgraded suspension is worth gold according to youtube.

I picked the 900 ace simply because i am used to riding 750 to 1000 cc motorcycles. I had a 600 honda shadow and i thought it was a dog. BUT, the 900 Ryker is a very quick trike. A vette could not get past me until we hit 70 mph. The Ryker is a bit scary on acceleration. After i break it in for 6-700 miles i might time it at a nearby track to see what it can do. the Ryker does not spin the rear tire, it just moves quickly.
