I'm new here, less than 300 miles on my Rally. The reason for poor MPG seems very obvious because the revs are kept high even when it appears (to me) that it doesn't need to. Perhaps someone will create a software hack to truly lessen the RPMs when in Eco mode. Yeah, I bought the Ryker mostly for fun but what's wrong with average MPG? If nothing else, it affects how often you must stop having fun and go get gas. :)

I'm using non-ethanal petrol (gasoline here in the USA) 91 octane. I'm getting 37 MPG in ECO 55-65 mpg 22 900Sport 583miles. Non-ethanal gas has more BTU's and will give you better fuel mileage. Ride on!

A very nice warm dry day here. went for a 2 hour tour, A 2 hour tour the roads were very nice, I let her run out. With my cruise control on smooth road 70 MPH 5900 rpm 50mph 4800 rpm, when I hit some small inclines the rpm would go up 100-200 rpms. The Rotax engines are very good engines that have a good dependable history! Those rpms are not high. With proper maintenance this 900cc engine will outlast a Harley engine.

How does your actual MPG compare with the onboard computer? I had one car that was very close to actual. The rest of my cars that have the onboard calculation are *quite* generous. Actual MPG is typically 92% to 96% of what the onboard computer says.

I'm using non-ethanal gas. using both miles / gallons and on board computer both the same. 842 miles 37 mpg.
