Re: What windscreen do you have
I’m in Canada- there are no affordable aftermarket windshields available that are less expensive than the Can-am version for the Ryker. So I have after much deliberation purchased the Can-am one for $250 CDN. I will comment on its performance after a few weeks.

My opinion is that it's better than nothing, but not by much.Suddendrop wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 7:53 amI’m in Canada- there are no affordable aftermarket windshields available that are less expensive than the Can-am version for the Ryker. check out California scientific https://calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/SpyderRykerprod.html

Re: What windscreen do you have
I've now driven over 4,000km 50% true "backroads" and the rest a mixture of rural and major roads with some "hi-way". The stock windshield is fine up to about 85 km/h but helmet buffeting gets bad after that without crouching down close to the stock windshield and quite impractical for more than a few km. I found below the 85km/h the stock windshield did a pretty good job even in driving rain. Has anyone tried the CalSci units at hi-way speeds and if so did it truly reduce helmet buffeting by a significant amount? If so was it the medium/large or extra large version? Are there any other aftermarket direct bolt on windshields that might perform well?

I keep looking at the CalSci medium and I know it's $250 but if it does the job. I made one from an old shield I had from another scooter but like you said at about 60 mph you have to get down behind it. Still looking ?
