Insurance

#1 Post by rca4 » Sat Mar 02, 2019 9:40 am

Hello, I was all set to purchase a Rally until I checked the insurance costs. Insurance was very high even double for the cheapest quote over my 2018 Indian Scout. Anyone have an idea where one can get reasonable insurance for the Rally?

OK, found a way to get insurance at a reasonable rate. So, I placed a deposit for Ryker Rally. Dealer says they have two ordered and I will get one of them. However, No one seems to know when 900 CC Rykers will be available in California.

Best wishes and good safe riding.

Not sure, but I think it is an emissions issue.

I just checked with State Farm and it is right at $300 a year for full coverage. $68 more a year than my 2014 Yamaha Stratoliner. But honestly this is going to vary so widely across the US there is no way to predict what other's may pay. When you can only ride 6 months out of the year obviously it's going to be cheaper than California.Make sure you aren't including medical on the policy, that will make it sky rocket.

I have State Farm and it is low cost. They now cover both 2 and 3 wheel motorcycles.
