Re: Sludge-like fluid leaking out of shaft case/rear wheel bearing

Those seals should be easy to come by. I stand by my original statement. Looks too thick to be gear lube, looks like grease to me and possibly a failed bearing

Re: Sludge-like fluid leaking out of shaft case/rear wheel bearing

It looks like grease to me. Too thick for final drive fluid. My guess is a bad axle seal. Based solely on the pic.

Re: LED Lights

They are an H4 LED Headlight Bulb, Hi and Low. BeamTech is a good brand on Amazon and under $40. No need to pay for fancy one off packaging. I have installed a few of this brand and they are well made.

Re: 900 ACE CLUNKING NOISE

It comes from the CVT as well as some play in the drive shaft. There is play in both, so yes, it has become acceptable for the Ryker. Some of the vehicles you mention don't have a CVT Transmission so that would explain that. An automatic is completely different than a CVT.

Seems like the only time one would take off a wheel, is having a new tire put on, and the tire shop will handle removing wheel. Even if you order a tire online, IMHO.
Most if not all tire shops will not have this socket available. One should carry this with them.
