Hopefully warranty will cover it.
No reason not too.

Re: Oh, Come On! Part Of Front Fender Somehow Broke Off

Interesting, one would think if it was vibration the cause of this then there would be many more failures. Especially on Rally editions where they spend time in worst conditions. True, unless the plastic was not molded quite properly. One I get fixed under warranty, I'm gonna try to figure out how ...

Re: Oh, Come On! Part Of Front Fender Somehow Broke Off

Update: Upon examination, said piece indeed flaps with road bumps/vibration!!! Plastic fatigue exactly what happened.

Re: Anyone Add TPMS?

The nice thing, is if you have one of your brakes sticking, you should notice an unusually high temperature on that wheel.

Oh, Come On! Part Of Front Fender Somehow Broke Off

I have no idea how/why or when it happened. Just looked at at when parked and it looked odd until I realized what happened. :opps: Anyone else see/hear of something like this? Much of what broke off was attached to inner fender piece, and not hard mounted. I wonder if it vibrates and fatigues the pl...

Anyone Add TPMS?

Just curious. Beats manually checking tire pressures before each trip.

Re: Which octane?

My Polaris Slingshot called for PREMIUM. After break-in, I tried mid-grade - NO pinging under hard acceleration. After that, I had ever so slight pinging with HARD acceleration using 87. Since I NEVER accelerated THAT hard, it was a non-issue to use REGULAR. Occasional pinging is no big deal. We had...

Re: Which octane?

If your engine does not ping whilst accelerating using 87 octane, you are already at "optimal performance", and all higher octane does is drain your wallet faster.

All octane does is prevent PRE-IGNITION. If no pinging, no pre-ignition present.

I certainly don't want to lose a wheel at 70 mph.
If it is loose, you won't lose a wheel, but if it cracks and brakes off completely, YOU WILL!!! Better to be under torqued than OVER torqued!!!

Re: Attraction

I was riding thru a very small 'hood in Lake Placid, FL. I thought the bro' was flagging me down to ask me about the Ryker. Turns out, he thought I was wanting to buy some "illicit material"!!!
