I honestly think that's why most people are having issues with their Rykers. It seems the dealers are not doing a thorough job prepping the machines. Hopefully the high engine temp didn't cause long term problems for you. Did you contact the dealership about it?

The ride is good on smooth roads but if like me you live in pot hole country, I feel each bump as bad or worse then when on my sport bikes. If you have hip or knee pain you may want to avoid the Ryker in my opinion. It's awesome to ride, but as others said it's not near as comfortable as the Spyder....
