It’s certainly not easy. Took be better part of a day. You will need a special tool and know how to remove body panels and raise and support fuel tank.

There is a specific way to check the oil level.
Read your owners manual and it will detail how to check it.

You cannot improvise, tool is a MUST HAVE. Tool cost was $79.00.

So did you get the tool or go to the dealer? Or improvise? I purchased the tool, probably never use it again, but I did not want to revisit my dealer for something I could do myself. I’d be glad to do it for ya , you can install the whole kit and leave the stock stem on if you want but it definitel...

Kit come complete with everything needed.
You will have to purchase the special tool to remove the
Handlebar Steering Stem or pay the dealer to remove it for you. Easy install , took me Mabee a hour.
