Well I'm still getting the tapping sound from the front of the riker, yes I agree it sounds like playing cards on bike spokes. I'm at 1800km and not had wheel issue like a lock up but I'll be checking out my pins for shore this long weekend. thank you all

Ok I've looked at my pins all stick out 1/4in-8mm all are tight no elongating of the discs hole that they go into all miss hub housing when wheels are turned and all have surface rust on pin head that all tells me the noise is not from a lose pin. My noise started at 700km I'm now at 1800km nothing has changed in the sound or way bike handles I'm still going on the idea its the motor be it cams, oil/water pumps. and as it is a dry sump it will have pumps going for it to move that oil around fast.

Some input on the "klunking" sound. I'm finding that if I start to accelerate and then ease off the brake that I don't get the klunk.

I seem to here an aluminum clanking at the engine but i can't seem to find what it is. It comes and goes and gets louder as I rev until it just leaves. Anyone familiar with this. Ty

Your not alone. Just hit 3k miles on my Rally. The card in spokes description is spot on. I don’t notice any performance issues at all. Just the obnoxious ticking. I was able to get 3 videos of it. Seems to be coming from the black area of the engine which can be seen to the right upper area behind the CVT intake. Or if you are looking at the Ryker straight on, the upper left area if you removed the hood piece. I’m scheduled for my first service Sept 25th.. I will post an update after I get the bike back.

Hi guys,
New to the site. Been reading about the rattling on the ryker. Have owned one for
3 months now and noticed the same sound of cards on spokes and after a near miss while riding, I found the surround on the front of the instrument cluster was loose. Placed my thumb on it and rattling stopped. I have not yet figured out how to fix it because of the way it is attached. This may not be the problem you are experiencing, but it is worth a look.

When moving from a dead stop I get a loud clunk if I accelerate very delicately I take up the slack then I don't get the clunk

This is a loud clunk when I start from a dead stop the only way not to get the clunk is to easily give it a little gas and when you take up that little space then you can go and you don't get any clunk

The clunk comes from the play in the clutch system. When listening on YouTube to other people starting out I don't hear them getting the clunking sound or complaining about it I heard one guy complain
